House of Travel- General Sales Agent (GSA)

House of Travel is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Air India, Air India Express, and Air India Cargo in Kuwait. In February 1992, House of Travel became the Passenger Sales Agent of Indian Airlines, and in January 1994, it was converted to General Sales Agent. Indian Airlines operated seven flights a week then to 7 destinations in India with onward connections to various cities in India and Southeast Asia. There had been a gradual increase in passenger uplift for Indian Airlines since the start of operations in 1994, reaching a level of thirty-two thousand passengers per year.

In November 1998, the House of Travel was appointed as GSA of Air India. Air India operated a total of 12 flights a week to Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Calicut, and Goa with onward connections to internal & international destinations.

Our taking over GSA of Air India has been a success story for us and Air India. When we took over the GSA, the annual uplift was mere twenty-eight thousand passengers with a revenue of about 15 million US Dollars. We feel proud to pronounce that its uplift increased to eighty thousand passengers and a revenue of over 38 million US Dollars even though the fare levels from Kuwait are on the decline.

Air India Express started its operation to Kuwait in July 2008 with seven flights a week to different points in south India.

In 2008 Air India and Indian Airlines merged as one entity Air India. In 2014 House of Travel was appointed as the GSA for the newly merged Air India and Air India Express for passenger and cargo. Presently Air India operates flights to Goa, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Air India Express operates Calicut, Mangalore, Cochin, and Trivandrum flights. From 1st April 2019, Air India Express has increased its operations to Kannur with two flights a week which makes the total flights operated by Air India Express to 10 per week

Per covid Air India Operates 14 flights and Air India Express operates 11 flights a week to various Indian destinations.
